Karlhos Misajel is a Peruvian saxophonist and composer; beginning to be recognized as an international artist thanks to the modern sound of his saxophone; plays Alto, Tenor, Soprano and Baritone saxophone, Bb clarinet, Flute, Piccolo and EWI, maintains a career as a teacher; sideman accompanying artists, session musicians, and solo artists.
Since 2007, begins his quest for the world, having toured in Spain, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, USA and many more, after that tour, he recorded his first album in Peru: A Different Day (Smooth Jazz).
In 2009 traveled to Mexico, where he recorded his jazz CD: "MISAJEL / ESCAMILLA - MEXICO JAZZ" together with Adrian Escamilla (composer). In parallel, performed concerts and workshops representing Rico Reeds in Latin America, and in Brazil he was invited by the International Conservatory of Music "Souza Lima & Berklee" (Sao Paulo - Brazil).
During 2010 he recorded his solo CD BACKSTAGE while participates in the "CLAEM" (Latin American Center for Musical Studies) and next year 2011 was invited to be a network member of MYSAXTALK to write articles and teaching classes in Miami - USA.
Between 2011 and 2012, made his tour with worskshops and concerts in the most important cities of Peru, also being the first Peruvian musician elected Paul Mauriat Saxophones artist, and Rico Reeds /Beechler/ARB mouthpieces on 2013. Currently continue performing concerts/workshops nationwide while producing his new CD.
